For my morning session I was assigned to experiment my crices by using pathfinder.
Before I even started making my circles I went to window and I clicked on pathfinder.
This is how pathfinder looks like.
There are some of the tools that you will find in pathfinder.
Then I made my circles using the elimpe tool and you can acesses that by holding the rectangle tool and clicking on the elipice tool.
Then I copy and pasted my existing circle so I don't have create a new one.
Next I stroked both my circles to 6mm so they can look more appealing and clear.
Then using pathfinder I selected the divided tool it combined my two circles together.
This is what I got.
Lastly I undo the divided tool so I can re-use the same circles but this time I used the minus black tool and my circle now has the crude month.
This is what I got
So there you have it. This is how you use Pathfinder
Good to have the icons labeled to remember them! Steve
